Same thing. I worked in NYC all my life, so we knew what he was. A self-absorbed buffoon who added color to the NYC picture.

Never saw his TV show.

We were all amused when he said he was going to run for President. I'm still having trouble accepting that he actually won, but I do understand the reasons it happened.

I read his book "The Art of the Deal" and also his small film role in Home Alone !!! That was in early 1990s.

No, and I watched his rise in NYC from back in the 70s.
He was always a narcissistic opportunist with nary a moral bone in his body.

On the other hand Jimmy Carter was a very likable fellow but a mediocre President.
I'll take a President doing a good job which is what Trump is doing.

I'm just very thankful Obama's gone and Hillary is at home doing Yoga and kissing her grandkids.

Would Hillary have been any more likable ? I think not.

My god, that laugh and my ears. OUCH!

Exactly the same point I was making.

I had a co-worker in the 80's who was absolutely besotted with him. His looks (he was hot then), money (of course), and ruthless ambition. I never watched "The Apprentice" (never a fan of network TV), but I later enjoyed listening to his Monday phone-in commentary on "Fox and Friends". Whatever he ranted on hit the mark with me, DH, and almost everyone we knew...whether it be Obama, China, Muslim terrorists, deporting illegal aliens, closed borders, DACA, etc. When Obama was hosting the Chinese regarding a trade agreement, and was giving them the red carpet treatment and a state dinner, Donald said he would've "taken them to McDonalds to talk over the deal and put them right back on their plane." I said, "He should run for President".

I think he has a good sense of humor, he always did, a little ribald but entertaining. I have never seen his TV show, ever. He was just one of those characters, his public persona was a little sleazy but likeable in a juvenile sort of way.

He stinks as public servant. No one like him should ever hold public office.

I loved the Apprentice but didn't care for his attitude - yet I love Arnold and hated him on the Apprentice. As a President I think he's doing a great job.

See the Trump haters came out in force - are there no other forums for liberals to rant and whine anymore?

I lived in New York from 1983 to 2000 or so. As such Trump was a constant fixture on the local news.

It was clear to me that he was as arrogant as can be.

It's a poll. What did you expect from a poll? People to all say they love him and compliment his tailor or something?

He's never been particularly well-liked by the public and his blundering as president seems to have continued that feeling for a good many people.

I guess the truth sucks?
