And once again, Trump says one thing and does the opposite.

Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort requests permission to hire 40 foreign workers

3 Trump properties posted 144 openings for seasonal jobs. Only one went to a US worker.
“America First” doesn’t seem to apply to the president’s own businesses.

Are they legal to work in the United States? If so, what's the problem? Trump's trying to help low wage Hispanics to have a better life and you want to condemn him for it. You sir, a a stone cold racist who hates Hispanics.

By bringing in foreign workers? Why has Trump run on reducing our use of H1B and H2b workers? Why run on that while hiring them for himself?

Because Trump is a lying hypocrite. That seems obvious enough that even a Trump supporter would understand it you would think huh? Sadly it doesn't appear to be that way.

If Trump has no idea that he's hiring hundreds of foreign workers every year while campaigning against doing so, he is not only a hypocrite, but a bad businessman. For example, the H2B workers he's hiring by the ton, are supposed to be seasonal. Except his definition to be "seasonal" seems to be about eleven months a year and done year after year after year. Why, it's almost as if he's using the "seasonal" definition as loosely defined as he can in order to hire the cheapest foreign workers he can find.

"The H-2B program is more or less despised by both sides of the immigration debate. The human-rights community considers the program legalized slavery, and those who advocate stricter immigration enforcement believe that H-2B workers contribute to unemployment and wage stagnation for U.S. workers. But the business community loves this program because it brings them cheap, reliable labor — people who can’t quit or demand better working conditions."

Think Trump Will Be Tough on Immigration? Consider His Company’s Use of Guest Workers
https://www.nationalreview.com/2016/...mar-lago-club/

Now the article above speculated that Trump wouldn't be tough on immigration because of his long history of hiring foreign workers. What we've seen instead is, Trump is tough on immigration but STILL hires foreign workers; he just doesn't apply the rules to himself.

This was brought up last year when it occured. Trump could not have failed to see it. The fact that it still happens demonstrates that yes, he is in fact a hypocrite. Or do you think that somehow he missed the news reports?

stop with your phony defense. It might have worked during his election, its no longer even remotely viable now given the past news coverage.

Trump doesn’t care about illegal immigration. His feigned anti-immigrant attitude is politically expedient because his base can’t grasp that jobs have become automated and instead want a convenient boogeyman on whom they can blame their hardships and a widening Gini Coefficient. It’s a wedge issue that Trump and the Republicans use to gain support but will never address in an effective way because Trump and the donor class rely on cheap immigrant labor to enrich themselves. This is painfully obvious to anyone who isn’t caught up in tribalism.
