But Bush (both of them) are ENEMIES of Trump.
Why on earth should Trump speak respectfully of them?
There is no need to speak of them within the context. Talk about your accomplishments......focus on yourself -- no need to trash someone who isn't even an opponent.
It isn't about defending someone else, it is about pointing out how childish, immature, senseless this kind of behavior is.
I didn't mind the two Bush Presidents. Not a huge fan of some of their policy choices, but they conducted themselves like adults and seemed nice enough.
If you can't get your team together -- how can you bring a country together.
You have to work with people you like and people you don't like.
If you are in charge - you are the adult in the room and the one that should be trying to get along.
McCain never made an effort to work with Trump.
