Think of how much more effective that argument would be if African Americans *weren't* committing far more violent crime than any other demographic...
Effective for what audience? White people do not want to accept or believe that THEY are racist. To be a racist is considered a moral stain and stigma on someone. People don't want to make the admission to themselves, not to mention others. Consequently, racist NEED black dysfunction relative to whites, that can be measured and displayed through statistics, to RATIONALIZE and COVER for their negative views of blacks....that was likely sentiments that was passed down from their parents who had it passed down to them from their parents and so on and so on.
Every action creates a reaction. The actions of white racism manifest in creating dysfunction in black people. Racist then use the dysfunction to rationalize continued racism. It's circular.

When you rob, rape, murder and enslave them for centuries......what have you taught them? Again, Ghana, where many African Americans ancestors came from, has a murder rate of 1.66 per 100,000. In Accra, a city of 1.5 million people, ANY us city would salivate at having a crime rate as low as it has. When I pointed this out earlier in this or another thread....someone said that the crime rate is so low because the people are too poor and starving to be violent. I mean......talk about stereotypes.
You can't on one hand, as you have done, acknowledge the racist history of whites towards blacks (ACTIONS)....then on the other hand pretend or argue that it produced no (REACTION) upon backs. All actions produce reactions but whites are not willing to account for the reactions they have manifested upon blacks.......instead you all try to be cute by saying "Oh....so ALL your problems are the fault of whites". No one ever said that. However, your actions have manifested negative reactions in blacks....and they often show up in statistics.

I think there's a lot of truth to this.
But none of it changes the fact that a majority of the violent crime in this country is being committed by only 14% of the population. People won't just overlook that.
Yes, white people should quit being racist. Black people should quit raping, robbing, and murdering... and glorifying that via pop culture.

And no race wishes this more than black people...because whether white racism or black violence, we are the primary victims of both.
Someone should start a thread titled "Black people have been committing more crimes than white people for a long time"
There are already plenty of threads about this topic. Black people discuss this stuff with each other. It's not like no one knows about it. I know about it. So what? What does it have to do with the law-abiding, hardworking Black people in this country? Or do those particular Black people not count?
If we can start a thread with the title you suggested, we can also start a thread of "Black people have been treated badly in America for over 350 years".
