There is a saying, "Ignorance is bliss". This is one of those cases where ignorance really is bliss. I notice that the more I know, the more informed I am, the more miserable and depressed I get. On one hand, not knowing about any of this could be harmful to me. I have to be aware of what I will be facing. On the other hand, the more I hear about such things, particularly as racial issues are concerned, the more grim and sad my view of the world becomes. The more you know, the sadder the world becomes.
There has to be more to the story. I just can't believe someone would call the police on that black girl. She looks like any ordinary college student.
The latest incident in California at the Safeway makes no sense. The black lady said she went to a Safeway to feed a homeless man, but then she said she never got out of her car. Then she said her child was going in and out of the store to get cookie samples. Her side of the story just wasn't very coherent at all.
Not saying that there wasn't racism involved. I'm just wondering if there are other sides to the story that we are not hearing. Like in the case of the college student in the link you posted; she looks like a polite, completely ordinary college student. I just can't see how or why someone would call the cops on her for eating in a cafeteria. If that truly is the whole story, then whoever called the cops should be fired for wasting everyone's time and resources.

Sorry, but no it doesn't. That's the America we are living in today, people are just mean, hateful, and spiteful. Some will do things like this for no good reason, except to cause another person a hard time and a stressful situation. But, what goes around comes around, they will get back times ten. What if all other races start calling the cops on people who look different from them, for no good reason.
The bottom line is that Humans are A holes. Look on this forum. On one hand you have people crying that one side isn't caring or understanding all while calling them every name in the book then talking about how their own side is morally right.
The left pretends to be progressive and inclusive. They claim to value free thinkers. Yes, as long as everyone thinks like they do.
The right is just as bad with their phony god loves us all BS.
People have been using the cops as a weapon for as long as I have been alive. Not just cops but also children services. People use the courts as weapons, suing over the slightest disagreements.
Do white people call the police on blacks? Of course they do. Chances are the same whites that call the police on blacks at the drop of a hat do it to other whites or would. Why because they are insecure hateful bastids. The George Zimmermans of the world.

Some people will do things like this just to send a message of "we don't want you here". Some people are just that spiteful and hateful. And this is not limited to White people either.
A black Wisconsin man recorded footage this week of a white woman calling the police on him while he tried to gain access to his own car.
Corvontae Davis told a local ABC affiliate that the woman called the police on him to report he was breaking into a car as he tried to get change from his own vehicle to pay a parking meter on Tuesday.
