From the articles I've read today, doesn't look like the negotiations are getting very far.

At worst? I thought he was the consummate negotiator. You don't expect more than that from him? Shame on you, lol.

Sorry folks, but this is the inevitable result when you agreed to let Bush invade Iraq and when you spend 38 years trying to topple Iran. Kim ain’t dumb...YOU ARE! The United States has backed itself into a corner, and Kim is not gonna save Trump’s bacon on this issue.
Is he threatening his own people with his nukes? Dhow does he use the nukes to stay in power? He can easily do away with the nukes and use his control over his police and military to stay in power while he strives to make his country better for the people, with the help of the USA, but it is up to him to do it that way.

Silly argument!

Kim NEVER had any intention of denuclearizing. Nukes made him famous. Nukes made him proud. Nukes got him a photo op with Agent Orange.

Kim conned trump, just like trump conned US voters (with some help from Putin).

North Korea ha been playing this game for more years than you've been wearing long pants.

A military solution is not in the cards boyo...get over yourself with the phony hooo-raah bravado.

True..... But you gotta expect our regular group of Lefties to all cheer for Kim and all proclaim that they already know the outcome.
Jeez.... You hafta wonder why those people bother to watch the news. They already "know" how it's going to play out.

See? Military solution is not an option (Insult follows); negotiation is not a solution (Trump insult follows).

There are no solutions except for the impeachment of Trump. That'll solve everything.

Trump by any standard is the greatest presidential putz in history.
If getting your picture taken with Trump (which is what Kim got) is such a big deal, why aren't you in line?

Story out NK media (Govt. controlled) has called the Pompeo last 2 days as gangster like and a repeat of prior administrations.

This should send Trump off the deep end once Fox couch people start talking about it.

Hint - many of us don't watch the news!

Instead we read history - and even current events (I've read at least 4 books by N. Koreans...maybe more).

What one really has to wonder is why people "watch the news" for information. In fact, that's probably the very reason why Trump - unlike most of us - doesn't know how this will end. He watches Fox.

The news is a shortcut for those who want to watch bimbos or man-childs spew out what their producers and owners tell them to. Only by understanding geography, history, human nature and much more can one have even an inkling of what is going to happen.

No....I (or we) don't know the outcome. But just as we KNOW Trump is not going to invent and produce an electric car with a 500 mile range or a new chip with 4X the density of the current models, we KNOW that he is a clown and a con man and that nothing he does can turn out properly...because he doesn't study, read, learn or have patience...

Now - according to the "multiple choice" theory, he will occasionally get something right. I could give you the hardest multiple choice exams in the word and you would likely score 25% (on a a,b,c,d test). So would monkey.
