An one year old should be with the parents in their native country and apply for a visa from outside the country. Our kids were very young when they came here and they came here legally!

If we can come through a legal point of entry so can anyone else.

Asylum can be applied for at any point of entry or at an embassy or Consulate. No excuse to come here illegally.

The County we live in has announced that they will be more strict on human trafficking so I doubt that we will have the criminal looking at our County as a safe haven.

No it wasn’t. It was a law passed during the Obama era that this administration decided to enforce differently as a matter of policy.

That is not the rub, at all. Neither did I ever say that I want to reduce legal immigration.

So much concern about traumatized children when those children are not citizens, but no concern about traumatized children whose fathers are black males sentenced more harshly than white males - often for bogus crimes. But they're American, so you don't care.

No concern about children who are homeless or the 2,000 traumatized children who go missing a day.

These people commit a crime as soon as they enter the country illegally. Are you of the opinion that criminals shouldn't be separated from their families?

You folks are sickeningly obvious in cherry-picking who gets your sympathy.

“I think we should also make legal immigration more difficult.” ? Did someone hack your account and post this without your knowledge?

We do not need uneducated unskilled peasants, many of whom can barely speak their own national languages, let alone English.

We could benefit from more highly educated and skilled and talented immigrants.

Will you honestly answer the question below, which I have asked repeatedly on these fora, but none of the open border people have yet responded:

If these immigrants voted overwhelmingly for conservative candidates in US state and federal elections, would you be crying to let them in and to naturalize?

And I completely reject your implication that it is somehow a moral imperative that we allow immigrants to enter the US. It is not.

Yes I would. I am a right-leaning centrist who historically has supported the GOP. My interest in making it easier to become naturalized taxpayers is socio-economic, not driven by political party affiliation.

I don't believe you.

If you are really a conservative, then you support the continuation of our Constitutional republic and disagree with attempts to move the US to a more socialist globalist place.

The Left supports bringing in as many aliens as possible in the hope of turning red states blue so that they can finally win the political argument in elections rather than through debate, where they have failed.

The Left has admitted this hope.

If you want immigrants to be naturalized tax-payers, you need to stop poor uneducated illiterate unskilled peasants and religious extremists who not only differ from us culturally, but often loathe our culture and history. You need instead to allow highly skilled and educated immigrants entry. You do that by stopping illegal immigration and making legal immigration more difficult... the way sane nations all over the planet do it.

The point is the one year old was hysterically crying in court. How do we fix that?
