Doesn't matter who gets nominated, none of them will be confirmed. The Republicans have sown so much discord in our country, that it has spread to their own failed majority in the Senate.

I think with the number of Senate votes reduced from 60 to 51, he gets confirmed pretty easily. It puts a lot of pressure on Manchin, Heithkamp, Donnelly and McCaskill, especially. One or more will probably support the nominee in hopes of re-election, but in those states, even a yes vote might not be enough for a Democrat in 2018.

Whomever of the group votes no is a certain loser this November. Yes votes means a few of them have some shot.
