Many of the homeless shelters and soup kitchens are funded by Churches.

Six of one, half dozen of another.

And you know this how? Do those who give money to the church realize they are paying a huge salary to Joel to fund his multi-million mansion, luxury yacht, Learjet, and Victoria's jewelry?

From what I understand, he bought the mansion from book sales. Do I agree with his church paying him what they do? Absolutely not and I would never go there but seriously? How do I know he pays taxes on his income just like everyone else? Seriously?

You seriously don't know that a pastor pays income taxes just like anyone else?

One of our local churches owns a thrift store, a coffee shop and has several pieces of rental property. Let them pay taxes.
