Nah. Luck had nothing to do with it. If anything, if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.
Just sayjng not everyone had the same circumstances you had.

I never realized there was some sort of "overhead power line index" used to help divide countries into 1st or 2nd world status lol.

That's china. Not America. Not our problem they won't get the balls to topple that commie government. They also don't have a 2nd Amendment to protect themselves from an oppressive government either.

That's the problem with people anymore. Nobody has the fight or the drive to do better for themselves. Everything is expected to be given to them. Especially so here in America. I Redpilled my Bernie bro 19 year old employee. He used to have a hard time understanding things are earned and not given. A hard concept to grasp that if he invests in me, I invest in him. 4 months later and a pay raise after paying attention to what I taught him. Yeah he will likely be able to pay for his college tuition without having to get a loan... amazing what budgeting and ambition will do...

Nope. Cars = freedom. Freedom to live outside of the city. Long drives in the country. Taking yourself on a road trip with no destination.

Taking a bus to the beach sucks.

America spends more money on war, military and foreign aid rather than investing in our own nation!
And only the Democrats and Big Brother can save us ….right? BULL1

The United States has the finest network for the handling of freight (rail and trucking alike) in the world, and it's 98 per cent privately owned. It's only when "public" involvement, and the mouth-breathing clientele who depend upon it, shows up, that the problems manifest themselves.

I won't attempt to defend the airlines, however, They are hopelessly locked into a philosophy of the largest revenue and passenger numbers which has made flying in a cramped space, with not-always-pleasant seatmates, and an overwhelming sense of powerlessness, into the mess it is. You get what you pay for.

And it was part of the agenda we rejected back on 11-8-2016, to steer the working class, Afro, Latino and Anglo alike, into the public transportation and infrastructural ghettos,

We'll keep our personal vehicles and our options, no thanks to you.

Second world, indeed!; and we know who's responsible for it, and trying to force us into it.

Because it's that or get fired.

When your boss says jump, you ask how high.

Lots of apples to oranges there!

First of all, our public transportation is pretty bad, but most of us are so wealthy (my world standards) that we have late model cars, and can afford Uber and Lyft (services we invented). And we've got great Internet access. The freeways are pretty nice for the size of the country.

Sort of hard to take this post seriously.

Okay fine. We aren't a first world country. So why do so many foreigners try to move here?

And we are not a socialist country, if you want that, then go move to a Scandinavian country!!!

No disagreeing. But probably the best feeling was walking out of one of my old jobs to get something to eat, then realizing how easy it was to just hop on the train to North hollywood, instead of being stuck at a light, wondering around for parking, and also wasting gas. Hop on, BAM, Im there.

What your not seeing is that a car should be an option. L.A. is an example. It’s trying to fix itself. But you think I wanna be stuck in my car for almost two hrs a day? If they had an extensive network, I’d be home quicker. Hell I could have a few beers and hop a train.

Im not blaming cars themselves. But blaming our shortsighted design of our cities.

The cartoon portrays the "American Dream" and the Bootstraps mentality accurately. It's just well marketed which is why there are lots of migrants trying to come in.
