Romanians have passed Nigerians as the kings of fraud in the U.K.? I'll grant that is interesting... but hilarious? You must be easily amused.
I thought most of the complaints were about Pakistanis, and justifiably so given revelations of the massive child sex rings they operate.

Let's just start calling them all earthlings. Or carbon based lifeforms. Let's be as undescriptive as possible so nobody knows who we're talking about. Then the problem will go away.
The problem isn't whether or not they are technically Asians. The problem is the rape gangs. Brits calling them Asians is just something we find peculiar because it is so undescriptive. We're not talking about Japanese people or Russians here, though they can technically be called Asians too.

Specific to the added remarks: “we” find it peculiar because “we” have our own pre-conceived ideas about what constitutes the Asian community. That is “our” definition, not theirs.

Maybe Lorena Bobbitt could go on a British tour and give all these ladies some instructions on self-defense and how to wield a small knife. She could call her tour the "Boulevard of Severed Weiners"!

They aren't taking the issue seriously. Thanks for acknowledging that.
Grooming gangs abused more than 700 women and girls around Newcastle with “arrogant persistence” after police appeared to punish victims while letting the perpetrators walk free, a case review has found.
The report into the response by authorities to child sexual exploitation found that before a large-scale police operation was launched in 2014, officers’ actions were sending an “unhelpful” message to perpetrators.
