No, thousands of people did not lose their lives and the main reason the death toll was higher than it should have been was because Puerto Rican infrastructure was a disaster before Maria even formed in the western Atlantic.

The island was a ticking time bomb.

What did you expect? Did you expect Trump to wave a magic wand and make everything better?

There was a lot of aid sent there. It was sent out as fast as possible. It's an island that took a beating. Much of the aid had to arrive by sea. What more did you want?

I disagree. but look at it another way. Trump goes around saying whatever he wants to whoever he wants. I think we both can agree to that. With that said Trump has given these groups a voice right or wrong.

Yes, thousands did lose their lives. And it matters not about infrastructure. The point is Trump wasn't there and didn't give a rat's azz about them.

The institutional language of the United States is English. The language of Puerto Rico is Spanish.
