Trump and Germany have something in common: they are both "captive" to Russia.

So you think that Trump is doing Putin's bidding by demanding that Germany and the other NATO countries stop buying natural gas from Russia.

This is all apparently too clever for me to understand. Perhaps you could explain to us how this is good for Putin or Russia.

Don't kid yourself. Trump is a traitor to the core. If you really believe he cares about America's interests you are dreaming. He will throw us under the bus in a heartbeat if it gives him an ego stroke.

NATO needed a wake up call. Glad that Trump is placing a spotlight on the terribly lopsided numbers. How in the hell did we reach the point of footing the bill for NATO and running $600 billion dollar trade deficits with the world? That with the wars overseas and we wonder why we’re $21 trillion in debt.

The worlds piggy bank? I think Trump is on to something there.

Yep. Even if someone does not like Trump, it should be obvious that he is right about this.

Finally, a president who fights for American interests.
Bingo!

Why shouldn't the US start to pull back some? Reduce our military bases in NATO countries to cut back our own spending. The EU is bigger than Russia...about 10 times the GDP and about 4 times the population. Let the EU protect themselves from Russia. Sure keep a defense alliance in place...but pull out our military bases if they can't keep their own promises...let them spend more or have a weak military presence in Europe. Their choice. It isn't our obligation to have a massive military presence in Europe while they spend money on their own people.

Save our own money and reduce the deficit, heck even spend some of the savings on our own people.

Why not?
This ^^^
If Europe doesn’t care enough to fund its security, then why should we care and carry most of the financial burden?
Let’s put those soldiers and militaryresources on our border. We’d recoup billions in welfare and schooling costs of illegals plus all the money the soldiers would be spending in America instead of Europe for essentials and recreation.

Forbes puts his estimated worth at 3.1 billion including 2 billion in real estate. If that is the definition of failure I can only hope to fail so spectacularly.

FYI, for someone that does not understand the difference between net worth and annual revenue should you really be involved in discussion like this to begin with?

The Democrats just can't figure it out. They are so used to "business as usual." Meanwhile, Pres. Trump keeps winning.
