Hi. I didn't know where to post this. After careful consideration, I though here, because this is however an important political issue.

What happened to this people in the article is wrong. Nobody should have to divorce to cover kids medical bills. Heath care is a right and the government should be covering it. Health care should be free and for all, like it is in Europe and Canada and so other many countries.

I know there are many conservatives on this forum. I want to hear their opinion.

Exactly how much should everyone be on the hook for other people’s problems?

This happened even before the big deal with Obamacare. Many working couples make too much to apply for benefits, Medicaid ect so split and are eligible.

It is sad but the 2 sides don't ever want to get together and correct things.

Sounds like the earned income tax credit (EITC). Couples with children do no get married so the woman can collect benefits white the baby daddy works and supports them.

Another ignorant partisan response. "They do not care about anyone other than themselves" selfish, uncaring and just plain ignorant!

No **** Sherlock. But you aren't charged at the point of use, and you won't have to wait for the mystery bill to come in the mail weeks later to see whether insurance was feeling generous enough to not let the healthcare nearly bankrupt you.

This is exactly what the socialist liberals intended when they designed the welfare system: break up the family, make people dependent on the government, give the government the power to enslave people with taxation based on the redistribution of wealth. Lenin couldn’t be more proud.

Everyone needs to support unending collectivism now or they’re ‘partisan’?

Oh yeh, Lenin. Communists, LOL.

People also get married to get health insurance and that's a wrong reason for getting married. A woman who doesn't have good health insurance or has no health insurance traps a man into marrying her because he has a job that provides great health insurance. Then they usually end up divorced.

I've also heard of kind men offering to marry some poor woman who has cancer but bad health insurance. Again, not a good reason for marriage.

Everyone should have their own health insurance. You pay in small amounts all your life so it's not a big hit if you suddenly get a disease or are in a bad accident. Everyone chips in. Both parties need to get together and fix the health insurance fiasco.
