I think, as the extreme left takes over the Democrat Party, many of us, formerly with connections to the party through family or ourselves have become disenchanted and left out. The Republican Party welcomes us and I believe it is much healthier than anyone knows, with all types of people.

They've done this a few times. Look at the late 70s through the 80s. Then they got their act together in 1992 under the Clinton campaign. I remember in 2016, wondering why Hillary wasn't trying to model her general election campaign more on Bill's.

The Democrats will either undergo another self-correction, or be delegated to more years of wilderness.

My all white liberal neighbors now refuse to speak to me and my gay, Korean husband because we support Trump.
I see those signs all over - a more accurate sign would read "No matter where you're from, I'm glad you're my uber driver who lives in that other neighborhood over there!"

But, they welcome them into their area to clean their toilets and they're happy they're picking their fruit, keeping the price artificially low! Oh, and a cheap roof!

This thread is exactly why any communication with my neighbors is small talk only. NO POLITICS! As far as they're concerned, I'm just that nice lady who works at the school library. The less they know about me, the better.

You're the smartest among us! I regret having assumed the person I spoke of would be open-minded, even though I inherently knew better.

Its been made quite clear the left is not interested in representing citizens, only illegal immigrants. They would at some point appoint judges to SCOTUS that are non citizens in the name of diversity.

I don't find it odd at all. Since you're the one bringing it up, why don't you present links and evidence that Trump is anti-gay. I have not seen any evidence that he is and in fact, he is the first President to come into office, who has said he is pro-gay marriage and pro-gay rights.

And, to hear Democrats explain it, I should be in a camp right now. Get with the real world.
