The summit won't be awkward for Trump. He will side with Putin and criticize the "Witchunt", Mueller's team and also criticize US intelligence agencies. Trump is absolutely smitten with Putin and will agree with anything Putin says and will take Putin's side 100% of the time.
Trump might consider pardoning the newly indicted Russians as a favor for Putin.
The fact that 12 Russians have been indicted by our government for tampering with our election process should OUTRAGE any American regardless of politics.
I would be just as incensed if this happened to the GOP as well. This was an assault on our Democracy by a foreign power. How some of you think this is solely about Trump is mind boggling.
What is even more outrageous today was the almost non response to this act by the White House and the silence of a majority of Congressional Republicans.
Will Trump stand up to Putin and defend our Democracy when he meets with him?
In a related development:
Late last month in the Maryland primary, thousands of voters had to use a provisional ballot. People had been removed from the rolls somehow.
The investigation announced what it found today. Somehow the voter registration software that Maryland is using was made in Russia.
Keep in mind that the state is pretty much run by everything Democrat.
You can’t make this stuff up!
May be but the software is actually the brainchild of a Republican

Republicans in this administration will NEVER be outraged.
They are a lazy bunch and the only thing lazier than gerrymandering is knowing someone else is cheating for you and garunteeing you 'll be in power for life if you just keep their secret.
Because of their greed our country will become like Russia.

"It doesn't really show the kind of leadership and toughness that you'd want out of a President. You start whining before the game's even over? If whenever things are going badly for you and you lose you start blaming somebody else? Then you don't have what it takes to be in this job,"

So you are calling for Mr. Obama, POTUS at the time of this "outrage", to testify and explain how he allowed it to happen?
Keep it up, lefties. It's the best way to get him elected next term.
Voting, no. Supporting him now after everything, yes.
