https://electrek.co/2018/07/09/tesla...e-war-tariffs/

"The company was preparing a massive push in China as import duties were planned to fall and local manufacturing is coming."

Here is one of the few companies that could easily become a worldwide powerhouse in everything from cars to tunnels to mass transportation to rockets and to energy.......

Yet they are now forecasting lower sales in China because they have to raise their prices 20K or more due to the trade war that the Don so loves.

Tesla is the leader in electric car sales in China - by far! Moves like this will change that - and in the end, China will make their own cars and tech and - I'd bet - we will be buying them here...

Sad. Really.

What's the odds we'll be seeing tariffs on Chinese made Trump fashion lines?

Both are correct, but to Dbones, wasn't the entire justification of the tax cuts (permenant to billionaires, temporary to working class) that cutting taxes for billionaires creates jobs, and jobs are good?

Do you no longer think jobs are good? Or are they only good if one of your own can benefit from them? You asked "who cares", which seems to imply you don't. Really, you don't care about American workers and good jobs in the USA?

Seriously, you said it, and I'm thinking you DO care, so please explain your two statements in this discussion.

While you're at it, maybe you, or someone can explain why the Chinese Tariffs have exclusions that would allow Ivanka to continue to import her shoes from China, without increased tariffs. Wonder if Daddy is going to out her on twitter like he did Harley Davidson.

I'm sure I'm just too dumb to understand. Please explain the logic.

Tesla doesn't even qualify as a two-bit player. More like 0.02 bits.
