It wouldn't surprise me if women cops treated women drivers more harshly given how I've seen women treat each other. What speed was this person going she deserved to be arrested? Speeding shouldn't be an arrest-able offense. Stuff like this is what gives cops a bad name. Go fight some real crime.
It technically had no bearing, but it still doesn't change the fact that it's yet ANOTHER example of overreaching big government. These two cops had no radar, nor any tickets, yet handcuffed and jailed a woman for speeding without any evidence.
In my opinion, this woman should have resisted arrest, she would be within the law to have done so.
So go ahead--waste your time on Russia/Putin, Stormy, and other trivialities. This is reality in today's America, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Donald Trump.
To add some information to everything, Georgia is one state (of several, if not many) where everything is a crime, the idea of "violations" as places like New York have do not exist. So in theory, everything is an arrestable offense. The primary advantage is that you have the full protections of the legal system available to you, but the disadvantage is again, everything is theoretically an arrestable offense, it's essentially officer's discretion whether to ticket or arrest.
Everything in theory is not an arrestable offense. In Ohio an arrest for a Minor Misdemeanor can only be effected for a few exceptions, one being the offender refuses to sign the citation.
Most states limit a warrantless arrest for a misdemeanor only if it was committed in the officer's presence.
In Ohio concerning an M-4 to an M-1, for a warrantless arrest, it must have been committed in the officer's presence, but there are a few exceptions.
Although the 4th AM is not offended by an arrest even for a fine only offense, Ohio's Constitutional protection affords more than the 4th in that matter as an MM, fine only offense.
