Consider the word “Representative” for a moment. We often think about it as a political post — something that you run for, something that you win. It’s easy to forget the idea at its heart:

The simple notion of representation. The fundamental idea that our leadership ought to actually reflect the people who make up this country — their interests, their values, their daily realities.

Folks, women make up more than half the population — but they’re represented by a Congress that’s 80 percent men. And the numbers are even worse for women of color.

I don’t see why this matters. As long as they represent your issues who cares about their gender? And playing the “we don’t have enough females in politics” card didn’t help Hillary. Hell that’d the whole reason they pushed her

Women do not seek power like men do. Not a bad thing at all.

Self loathing by the Dems has reached the highest levels.
Next they will want to elect the disease and not the person.

I would comment on this but I'm not really interested in giving a website any legitimacy that believes stupid name calling is a valid argument.

Hillary Clinton was a bottom of the barrel candidate. It was patently clear that the DNC completely underestimated how repulsive she actually was as a candidate. Yes, identity politics is huge in America. Millions will happily vote for anyone who is a female, just to prove how progressive America can be. Unfortunately for democrats, lazy low energy Hillary caused many would be democrat voters to lazily stay home, since she wasn't worth the effort of voting for. The DNC lost this election single-handedly. Nice work Give her another chance in 2020

anti-white, anti-male rhetoric by the democrats is blatant sexism, bigotry and prejudice. the democrats represent everything I don't want for this country. democrats judge a person solely based on skin color and sex.

There are too many people in politics, period--male, female, white, black, gay, straight, and more.

Less politicians = more freedom.
