LOL, naive Trumplings! After Trump is done exposing and, thus, destroying the alt-right movement via his ineptitude, crassness, immorality and otherwise general stupidity, the alt-right will have about as much chance of gaining power again in the US in the next hundred years as Nazis have in Germany post-Hitler for the next hundred years. A few years is more than a fair price to pay for elimination of a poisonous ideology for the next hundred years.

I thoughts cults were more about people who adored and blindly followed their leader. At least that's the way it is with all the cults I've been familiar with.

In the absence of actual power, such an ideology remains merely theoretical only, and thus its adherents can always claim it will lead to something better, because there will be no real-life examples of it gaining power and failing.
See....this is the same clueless response democrats keep making. They just don't get it at all

"It's working perfectly." Right....good joke

I'm an Independent and NOT a Trump supporter, but the reason Trump is in office and the Republicans keep picking up seats is because this is the democratic mindset. They keep harping on Trump's poisonous ideology and inevitable implosion. They were predicting that the implosion was going to happen in the primaries, then during the election, and now it's just "inevitable." How are those predictions going for you, buddy???

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that many of the voting public could care less about whether Trump is labeled as having "poisonous ideologies" or labeled as evil. That has had no effect on voting. Look, I dislike Trump and his ideologies too, but that can't be the focus if you want thing to change politically. People want actual solutions and alternatives. Jobs, trade, environment, energy, security. There need to be actual political solutions that will improve the country. So, if this was Obama's strategy, it was a DUMB strategy.

You can't just keep painting Trump as a "bad guy" and expect people will not vote for him. Democrats are still so clueless, and will keep waiting for that "inevitable implosion."

White women stepping up to the plate because women of color can't save the country by themselves. Trump with dementia while he's walking around the WH lusting after his daughter and ordering an extra scoop of ice cream for dessert. Nazis and Hitler and concentration camps (oh my). His hate - for people of color, for women, for Muslims, for the EU and Nato and the UN and the climate and the planet and the freakin' universe.

The country has been coming to an end. The world has been coming to an end. The rights of gays and women and blacks have been coming to an end. He's going to put ya'll back in chains!! Wait.........that wasn't about Trump. Impeach 45!! Special places in hell!! One of my once favorite actors (DeNiro) diving off a cliff into moronic and embarrassing delusion (accompanied by so many other embarrassing and deluded actors).

Ninjas in the streets. Burning random stuff and breaking random windows and yelling random accusations and beating random strangers. Medicated Pelosis and screeching Waters and why can't Schumer wear his glasses like a normal person? Cry some more tears Chuck.

So sure. Let's abolish ICE. Let's abolish borders. Let's abolish the police. Let's abolish the electoral college. Let's abolish the SC. Let's abolish the concept of a legally and duly elected president of the United States. Sure. Why not. What could go wrong?

It's been a wild ride so far.

Obama thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room when in reality he’s average at best.

Ever wonder why his college transcripts were never released? I'm sure it wasn't because he was in the top 10 percent of his class.

Our view was lifting Trump up at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, you know, as kind of the example of the Obama opposition. There was a strategy behind the material and the amount of time we spent on Trump. Let's really lean into Trump here. That'll be good for us."

Ah, Democrats' "strategery". Foiled again.
It may have been sabotage. 2008 primary featured tremendous bitterness between Obama and Clinton families. I abhor HRC, but since Rust Belt was the difference, if GOP runs an absolute Free TRade at all costs lover in 2016, HRC likely wins the Rust Belt. IMO NAFTA was a big factor in swinging Rust Belt votes. Sanders pulled Mi upset, also. So pumping up Trump = his only way to maximize her shot to not win in 2016.

With no love lost between the families, sabotage is certainly plausible.
