This will come back to haunt them, as Russiagate reflects on the entire GOP, unlike Watergate, which was limited to Nixon and his inner circle. Now, the Pub congress is actively doing whatever they can to block, stall or end the investigation. Those boys are scared spitless, and it's not because they love tRump.

It is true that the Republican party has altered its principals a bit to accommodate some of Trumps' outlandish and hardly typical DC behavior BUT at least the majority of the Republicans realize that Trump is the duly elected President that won the election and they are making the best of it unlike the Democrats that are out right blocking anything and everything Trump while calling for resistance, protests (riots) in the streets and some even hoping for a recession before 2020 so he will lose the WH.
Obama had the full support of the GOP while he was president. Mitch McConnell did all he could to facilitate Obama's policies including the ACA and his nomination of a Supreme Court Justice. *Sarcasm*
