You ask this as if it is some=jow important.

Atlantic City was becoming a cesspool.

Atlantic City was started to fail. Trump saw the signs and got out while he could.

MOST casinos closed during that time.

I guess you want to blame Trump for ALL the other casinos failing.

Desperation!

A mutual fund couldn't do that.

Anyone who wants to know what really happened with the casinos should read Trump's books. I think it's book two and three since it was over a period of years. Most people are too lazy to read books.
And there's no evidence that Trump has ever read a single book in his life. I've read thousands of books in my lifetime but Trump's ghost written self-advertisements are not among them. I wouldn't waste my time.

Except he didn't get out while he could. Only after the Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Marina, and Trump Plaza went belly up did he get out. If he had been a savvy businessman he would have seen it coming and stayed away. If he had been an ethical businessman he wouldn't have gotten involved in the casino (gambling) business in the first place. A predatory business like loan sharking and drug pushing.

I refuse to believe that anyone smart enough to be a member of this forum is also stupid enough to believe that Donald Trump has never read a single book in his life.

Atlantic City NJ is a ****hole, everything there failed or is in the process of failing.

And Trump dove in head first.

You've read thousands of books? While you were escaping in your books, Trump was building an empire, sleeping only four hours a night while doing it And now he is the most powerful man in the world.

By the way, Trump graduated from Wharton. I kinda think the students had to read books.

Trump can't spell. Can't speak or write coherently. Knows nothing of history (he thinks Canada invaded the U.S. during the War of 1812). Gives no indication of having studied any subject other than business or finance (Wharton is a business school). In a contest of general knowledge--history, literature (do you think Trump has read Joyce's Ulysses?), religion (has Trump read the bible?), philosophy, geography, etc.-- I would run circles around him. He would beat me at bankruptcy law. That's about it. By the way, Trump was a failure in the casino business which is why U.S. bankers will no longer lend to him and he has to go to the Russkies for credit. It will all come out when Robert Mueller gives his report.

Yet you are so ignorant to the facts. You just proved that keeping your head buried in a book for most of your life does not equate intelligence, wealth or worldliness. Perhaps if you read up on the man you would understand him more. Instead, you just shut yourself down because you are full of hate and aren't reasonable. I always liked to read two or three books on an individual because I want to read both sides and then I make a decision. I suggest you do the same about Trump and stop watching CNN and MSNBC.

Great Interview. Bannon really cuts through the BS and get's to the point. He is a very smart man and hopefully, he and Trump have patched up their differences from that very public spat they had a while back. Trump will need Bannon for 2020.
