All that has to be done is classify the Russian government's cyberattack on American election offices as act of war and then -- boom -- just like that anyone who gave "aid and comfort" or cooperated, conspired or colluded with that attack is then guilty of treason.

They don't need to. The fact they were indicted by a Grand Jury means that evidence has been presented of the crimes they are charged with. That is a plenty strong enough foundation to build other cases on.
If Trump had any courage, he would demand that the indicted Russians return with him from Helsinki on AF1 to stand trial. They could all clear their names at the same time, but he would never have enough guts to actually bring that subject up with his boss.
