And rightfully so, if Obama had been stupid enough to try it ... especially if his campaign had ever had the backdoor dealings with Russians Trump's own campaign has had, they would be all over it relentlessly ...

Of course your point stands. The Republicans are party above country and hold all others to a higher standard than they could set for themselves.
