We should surrender to Russia. in 2015 no one dreamed Trump would be president but some how they knew. Its amazing isn't it, pouring vast amounts of resources into a seemingly unwinnable candidate? How did they do it? Its amazing the foresight they had. And then with just a few thousand dollars and some Facebook ads they rigged it all up.
With the GDP of Italy and a 1/10 of the military budget they have out gunned us and out witted us. Even with low world opinion, Russia just controls everything. I mean look at what Russia has done to us. Our economy is going well and military spending is up ....We are exactly where Russia wants us to be. ....

Bearing this in mind, here is the Occam’s Razor explanation of Maria Butina’s escapades:
(1) Maria Butina is a gal who loves money, politics, and guns.
(2) She was settling down in the US, because at least the guns and politics part (including conservative politics) are far easier and more fun to pursue in America than in Russia.
(3) Since she is presumably still a Russian patriot, a Putin supporter, and an Americanophile, she would have naturally loved for the US and Russia to get along.
Thinking ambitiously, this might have also held out the prospect of an extension of American soft power – that is, what she would see as its wholesome, conservative element – into Russian politics. If this scenario had panned out, she might even have become… an “American agent” in Russia.
(4) Trump was the only Presidential candidate talking of improving relations with Russia – and he was a honest to goodness nationalist to boot!
(5) And her trump card into American politics? Her “Kremlin Connection.” Even though Torshin is nowhere near Putin’s inner circle.
Unfortunately, there was also a sixth part that she failed to account for:
(6) The US is also substantially run by gray bureaucrats, spies, and policemen – the Deep State – and they need to keep the Russiagate narrative going at any cost, since they have invested so much into it.

Plus gun ownership ala the NRA is not even remotely a thing in Russia. So this is a hilariously insane theory on her. Plus if you read some of the affidavit you will quickly find this narrative falls apart. She even asks for new orders post election.

Bail hearing--her attorney was falling over his feet to impress the judge with how honest she was, how she testified before a Congressional hearing (run by GOP), how she has a townhouse, how she was so well adjusted to America she was no flight risk...

Butina will appear at a hearing Wednesday in Washington, DC, following the news Monday that the Department of Justice was charging Butina with one charge of conspiracy, but had not yet gone to grand jury. Butina is a Russian national and gun rights activist who was arrested Sunday and is facing criminal charges for acting as a foreign agent in the US.
The Russian national stands accused of working with her mentor, Alexander Torshin, to develop "back channel" communication with US politicians, according to an FBI affidavit.
Arrested Russian National Has Clear Ties To Trump Family
Maria Butina, the Russian national who was arrested for infiltrating the NRA and attempting to use her power to sway US politics, has very clear ties to the Trump family and once offered to set up a communication line between Trump and Putin. Mother Jones also uncovered footage from a 2015 Trump rally where Butina posed as a simple audience member and got Trump to say he’d lift sanctions on Russia. She became a member of the NRA kind of worked her way through that organization, meeting people. She attended White House prayer breakfasts and all kind of events in Washington DC where she met and interacted with very high profile people within the NRA and the Republican party. Those two points are very important. It was the NRA and the Republican party. This woman was not out there meeting with Democrats. She was not trying to use them to influence US politics.
