Father of 43 children found beaten in West Side home | abc7chicago.com

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...716-story.html

Wonder how his 43 children will turn out?

Wonder how many baby momma's he has?

Often times, news articles will say they were a father of 6 to 10 children but 43 children is unusual.

If one does a news search it is amazing the number of kids these men have.

It is amazing the number of shortage of men in inner-city neighborhoods and many welfare women really like the mentality of many of these men so I am not surprised.

Then again, many inner-cities have a massive shortage of men as many of the men are in jail, prison or moved out for employment purposes.

I'm at a loss of words but trying to come up with something. No one else can.

You wrote "these men" several times....seeming to indicate men of inner city neighborhoods. You are generalizing. You are insinuating all men living in inner city neighborhoods are the same. Ridiculous. You insinuate most men are in prison. Also untrue.

Why does it matter how many children a person has? How do you know the "mentality" of the men living inner city? What do you mean?

Have you thought of the difficult, extreme conditions that might accompany living in an inner city environment?
Do people there do something to deserve being there or do they find themselves in this predicament through no fault of their own?

Have you any idea what it's like not to know:

where your next meal is coming from...
how to pay rent money?
get clothing for your children?
how you get medical care for your sick mom?

I thought not.

So you cry about the OP generalizing a group of people then you turn around and generalize a group of people?

My next meal is coming from my kitchen, it's paid for by my paycheck.
I don't pay rent, I own a home that was paid for by my paycheck.
My kids get clothing from stores, paid for by my paycheck.
My mom has medical insurance, paid for by her paycheck.

My paycheck comes from me working my ass off 5 or 6 days a week.

It doesn't make his life less valuable. His family was his business.

I do. And I sure as hell wouldn't have even one child, let alone 43 if I couldn't feed them.

And he has 43 children, housed, fed and cared for by all of our paychecks.

I have nothing but sympathy for the impoverished and no respect at all for the impoverished who insist on bringing kids into the world that they can't even feed.
