Does she want to end the fed, or even audit it? Does she understand the negative effects of money printing(easing) and artificially low interest rates? Probably not, it isnt something her MIT Keynesian trained professors wanted to talk about.

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in a recent interview that the low U.S. unemployment rate is "a part of the problem" that she is looking to solve, then proceeded to make multiple false claims.

Ocasio-Cortez joined Margaret Hoover on PBS's "Firing Line" where she attacked Israel, calling them the occupiers of Palestine, before admitting that she had no idea what she was talking about despite having a degree in economics and international relations.

Do you disagree?
Did you know that the CEO of Amazon used to work at McDonald’s?

He’s now the richest man in the world . It’s up to the individual to decide what their career path is . Places shouldn’t be able to operate unless they can offer to pay $100,000 ? It’s better for people to be unemployed than take a warehouse job ??

I read an article where she said we can print more money and it’s not a big deal to increase the deficit .

This business insider article gloated over her as an economic genius that gets the economy better than other politicians . Apparently she thinks she knows more about the economy too .

“This is her key insight: Despite quack economists' insistence to the contrary, the US government is nothing like a household. It is not "burdened" by debt. It can borrow indefinitely, as long as that borrowing does not spur inflation. What matters, really, is the quality of the spending, not the size of the deficit.”

He graduated from Princeton in 86.and headed straight for Wall Street. The same entity that taxpayers not long afterwards had to bail out.

I'd rather have her in the government than people who want to arm toddlers with guns.

Look, I am no fan of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and I increasingly believe that she won because at least a portion of her voters voted for her for racial and identity politics reasons. They certainly did not vote for her experience or that her opponent was not liberal enough.

Having said that, this article is some kind of propaganda piece and unfair to Cortez. It takes her lines out of context and tells us what to think instead of showing us what she really said and letting us make our own decision. For instance the line that the low US unemployment rate "is part of the problem", makes it look like she likes high unemployment. But if you read the article, it does not appear she meant it like that at all. It is hard to say because the article leaves out key lines of what she said.

Well if she’s not happy with low unemployment what does she want ?

You agree with her?

True, she'll have to wait until 2024. By then she'll be 35 and Bernie about 135... would make an interesting ticket.
