Why are so-called Evangelical Christians against Putin?
Did you know that he is very religious Orthodox Christian who supports the Christian church and Christians after decades of oppression and persecution under State atheism regime during the Soviet Union.
He raised standard of living in Russia providing more generous welfare system helping the people. GDP has increased as well.
Putin is a cool guy who is not afraid of political correctness! He helped also attack ISIS!
Check out conditions for children with special needs living in orphanages and institutions in Russia.
I believe Jesus said something about letting the little children come unto him, and also about what should happen to anyone who offended one of these little ones.
That's for starters. After learning more about the neglect and deaths of hundreds of kids in these hellholes, perhaps you might be interested in learning that Putin has legally forbidden Christians to proselytize in Russia anywhere outside of churches, and that Evangelicals and other churches and clergy not part of the Russian Orthodox persuasion experience discrimination and often persecution, as do their members and people who belong to other religions. Jews have been especially poorly treated in Russia, both in the past and in the present. Do you know what a pogrom is?
As for Putin's claim of being Christian, well, Christians are not supposed to go around poisoning journalists, politicians and others whose views do not coincide with their own. Not Christ-like at all.
Nor are Christians supposed to blow civilian airliners out of the sky, invade peaceful countries in order to weaken and/or annex them, steal others' homelands, disrupt the elections and governments of other countries, enrich themselves at the public purse...all of which Putin has done, either directly or by the orders he gave his supporters or armies.
Yes, Putin occasionally attends church - the Russian Orthodox church - and makes sure he is photographed in devout poses. He wears a cross. He is fully aware of the significance of these things - but does them cynically, for his own benefit, not in reverence or worship of God (in any of His trifold persons).
Do not be so ready to accept appearances as reality, especially when dealing with Russia and Russians, especially those in positions of power. Putin is closer to being the AntiChrist than to being Christian.
He is a whited sepulcher. He is no follower of Jesus Christ, despite his claims of being "Christian". He is not "cool" - he is icy cold, with no human warmth whatsoever.
If you think Putin is Christian, then I'd suggest you learn more about Christ and what he taught.

Christians of all denominations are not supposed to go around poisoning journalists, politicians and others whose views do not coincide with their own. Not Christian at all.

This is baloney. Don’t believe everything you read on media.
He only banned Jehovas Witnesses - which is a CULT.
So journalists and political foes weren’t murdered? He didn’t illegally invade a neighboring country? Children in orphanages with special needs aren’t abused?

When I read your words it sounds like you are a native Russian speaker.

Lol.....as if “Putin is a cool guy....he helped attack isis!” wasn’t enough of a dead giveaway. That being said, the sentence structuring is bizzare.....
I tend to believe you need to make a decision. You either support Christ or you support Putin. Can't have it both ways. As for the OP, I can't decide if it's supposed to be snarky or if it's trolling.
