1. Sanctions are an act of war. They cause starvation and hunger in the countries they are used against, and just to help gain the upper hand in terms f imperial control over a certain region.
Do you think when trump uses sanction to destroy Iran's economy so a revolution comes up he does this because he cares about Iran?
Imperialist don't want war with Russia, they want to use Russia as a propaganda device to support more war in Ukraine and Syria. That is the threat I wish Americans could see.
Its interesting that you bring that up, since in a number of Canadian cities, including Toronto and Vancouver, Persians were protesting against the regime and praising Trump for his stance on it, while condemning Canada's PM for his indifference.
Have you heard of Imam Tawhidi?
Not related to this, but here's a post about Israel:

I don’t on the other hand want the US to get involve and turn Iran into their puppet state, any revolution that the US makes is not one I support.
Also those Iranians don’t live there so they don’t have to face the devistating economic consequences. You’re fooling yourself if you think either Israel or The US cares about the Iranian people.
As for the tweet, it’s completely irrelevant. There are plenty of Jews in Iran and yet are history is completely different from modern day Israel. The latter wasn’t constantly attacked by the most powerful countries on earth for the last 100 years. It’s no surprise we turned out differently.
And those bases are there a the request of our NATO allies as protection against Russia. What Russia wants doesn't mean a goddamn thing because those countries are sovereign. If they want protection in the form of NATO bases, it's their right to have it.
What a dumb statement. Read up about the 90s; we choose to put our military in their countries and we always intended to. It was part of the plan to make sure Russia never rose up again.
No country has a right to have our soldiers and missiles occupying their land, that is the dumbest thing I ever heard. We promised Russia we wouldn’t encroach east, and like every other promise we made them we turned our backs.
Central America hates us for butchering their people, upholding brutal dictators, and escalating the drug wars. Say we lost the Cold War. Do you think it would acceptable to us for Russian military bases to form a line straight up to our borders. Do you think any American President would find that acceptable?
We know the Government performed a coup in Ukraine to keep NATO friendly powers in office, we know they armed terrorist in Syria.
We know they are carpet bombing Yemen and destroying Somalia. We know we need a bad guy (Putin) to have so the MIC can garner more support for military action.
We know the media is state propaganda that calls out people who aren't being 'patriotic' enough (not worshiping the state).
We know Brennan has committed international crimes and has broken the Geneva convention, same with all his successors.
And yet it takes only a short period of time for the media to convince Americans Putin is the true enemy because of Facebook posts (and no evidence of government involvement).
Now rather than punishing Trump for illegally droning children in Niger, we are calling him to be charged for treason for acknowledging a widely accepted fact, that the US has been the major deterrent to improved Russia-US relationships.
And yet everyone on this forum just eats it all up.

Putin has been the enemy since he took power. Stop making excuses.
And Bush, Clinton, etc. all made sure he'd be our enemy.
Right over your head!
"Putin has been the enemy since he took power. Stop making excuses."
Putin is an evil man through and through. He's a dictator masquerading as a democratically elected leader. He took power, he's held onto power through violence. All he cares about is himself, growing his power, and pillaging more wealth from his people.
Evil is evil is evil. It's best people recognize it for what it is and stop with the brown nosing.
To the OP: Because white blonde Jesus told us to hate our enemies. It’s what I leaned in Sunday school.
