They were taking wild shots out of their own moving vehicle. I doubt they even hit his car let alone him. At first I thought "wow! they got his windshield!" Then I was like "wow, he thought that was a good idea"
There shots could of easily hit the officer or an innocent bystander. Sounds like a good decision on the part of the officer.
Still doesn’t make it ok for illegals to come and cause crime.

Got to admit the idiot right never gives up. We have a high Hispanic population in Las Vegas and most represent pretty nice people. It is likely they lower the crime rate. But there are Hispanic thugs and their are white, black and asians ones.
The cops here were pretty heroic and thankfully the perps not very competent. Think about it if one of the perps had an AR15 and a couple of clips.
And these guys both had long rap sheets.

The deceased suspect, Fidel “Cabezon” Miranda, 23, has a lengthy arrest history to include robbery, kidnapping, grand larceny auto, possession and manufacturing of short-barreled rifle/shotgun, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, battery to commit mayhem/robbery, narcotic offenses, and transfer/receiving a stolen vehicle.
He was armed with a Smith and Wesson, Model SVE40VE, .40 caliber handgun and a Glock, model 21, .45 caliber handgun.
The surviving suspect, Rene “Kreeepper” Nunez, 30, is a three time convicted felon. His priors include robbery with a deadly weapon, larceny from a person, assault with a deadly weapon, and burglary with a deadly weapon, among other charges.
He faces murder as well as many additional charges after the homicide and subsequent rolling gun battle.
