Illegal immigrants can't vote so the Democrats would be wasting there time targeting them. Democrats are a center right political party they haven't lobbied for the working man in a long time.

You guys had better get a grip. This Alabama farmer breaks it down in a nutshell, and you Americans can’t stand to hear it:

And until Americans face up to this issue, this dumb debate will keep going in circles.

Correct. And why should the Democrats lobby for the working man/woman? The working person doesn’t have any money to donate to their election campaigns.

Big corporations are where the money is. Big corporations want policies that increase the supply of labor (including white collar labor) in order to drive down wages. That’s why the Democrats (and Republicans) support illegal immigration, outsourcing, H1Bs, etc.

This will never change because the working class is divided against itself over stupid tribal issues like guns, confederate monuments, and transgender bathrooms.

Where's the 'dropping of the working man' policy?

But you guys never want to talk about that.

I’m one of the early boomers. Back when I was young we didn’t have a problem with illegal immigration, unless you want to count Ike’s “Operation W**back” that deported some farm workers. Why? Because we had an ample supply of young workers entering the labor market willing to work in low pay occupations. With smaller families and more kids going to college, the supply of cheap labor dried up, and the law of supply and demand took over. Illegals entered the country who were willing to work at rates that employers were willing to pay. It helped consumers overall because it helped keep prices low. It hurt Americans who compete with illegals for low skill jobs, but it helped a larger number of American consumers than it hurt American workers.

The rage about illegal workers really isn’t about economics. It’s about “culture”, and about 30 years too late to stop the resulting demographic change.

We’re not gonna do anything about it, and neither will the Republican Party.

Besides, your state is a sanctuary state too.

They can't vote legally but some have been known to get away with it anyway. The Democrats are actually after the racist, ethnocentric type of Hispanic citizen's vote.

Please point me to all the illegal immigrants who actually took people’s jobs.

They seem to mostly do jobs that citizens either do not want or will not take due to low wages for hard labor.
