LMAO...99% of those people couldn’t even tell you what regulations you’re alluding to. In fact, neither can you for that matter.

At least these places don't have an internet site dedicated to how to avoid piles of poop on the streets.

Unreleased full-year coal employment data from the Mining Health and Safety Administration shows total U.S. coal mining jobs grew by 771 to 54,819 during Trump’s first year in office, led by Central Appalachian states like West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania - where coal companies have opened a handful of new mining areas.

You can adjust for cost-of-living all you want but most of those counties also have the lowest life expectancies in the nation - at least the the ones in Kentucky do. I started my teaching career in one of those counties. Yeah, the cost-of-living, if you are talking housing, was cheap but getting goods and services beyond the bare necessities was expensive once you factored in traveling 50+ miles each way to buy stuff or see an actual doctor was factored in.

You can not begin to understand the despair these places breed until you’ve actually been there. Politicians pay attention to the urban poor but the rural poor are invisible to almost all the rest of America - out of sight, out of mind. They voted for Trump because at least he acknowledged their problems, which is is far more than any other national politician has done since LBJ.

bingo. Most times when I press Trumpsters on this they end up spouting some local code that is handled by their town instead of the big bad fed gov.
