I believe in funny political bumper stickers without using profanity.
I had one that said "I'll keep my guns, my money and my freedom, you keep the change." and another that said "Work Harder, Millions on Welfare are Depending on You."
Now with my new car I just have one that says I Support President Trump and a Tea Party flag and a Blue Lives Matter one. I'm thinking of getting one last one about abortion, maybe Abortion is Murder. People love my bumper stickers and always compliment me on them especially since I'm Asian American, though to be honest there are many Asian Republicans here in Louisiana. I think over 40% of Asians in Louisiana voted for Trump (I guess low compared to the 85% of white Louisianans who voted for Trump) but still a decent number. Over 80% of blacks here did vote for HIllary and for Obama.
Down here, Asians and Hispanics are the ones where you really can't predict which way they vote, since most whites are Republican and most blacks are Democrat. However the more assimilated and Americanized an Asian or Hispanic is, the more likely they're Republican. Religion also has a big part to do with it. My religion is a major reason why I'm Republican.
I saw a very funny one in the neighborhood recently that said "Life's a B_____ Don't Vote for One). When I lived in West Virginia there was a sticker that said "Vote for Coal, It's Black". (many blacks did go out in droves and vote for Obama for racial reasons).
When you have a candidate who ran a campaign like Trump did in 2015-2016, is it really a surprise we are where we are?
Trump has pulled this entire country into the gutter. You should not be surprised anymore.
I'm certainly not.
Honestly, this rhetoric has existed at least since the 2000's with the previously mentioned **** Bush and **** Obama bumper stickers (as well as the vulgur C.H.A.N.G.E. shirts for Obama), so it isn't unique to Trump's America. Now I will agree, it is far more prevalent and nastier under Trump than it ever has been. The extremes are much more vocal and much more nastier.
I would think that was mainly because of the guns you had on it, rather than the language itself. Depending on where the troopers were, you might have gotten high-5's from them.
They were the only ones willing to enforce the SafeAct.
Sheriff's wouldn't. Local PDs wouldn't.
We're just returning the "pleasantries" you so gracefully heaped upon us during the Obama years. Man up and don't be a snowflake. You're only going to make it worse by complaining about it.
