You do do economics right? The MORE government you have , the higher your taxes will be . Why would you want more people working for the government AKA the "people" . ICE has only existed since 2004. It is within the purview of congress to establish, reorganize or abolish any office in the government.
ICE is in need of reform. We could just go back to the structure as it stood before 9/11, or reorganize it in some other way.
The whole 'sky is falling' reaction to the proposal is silly.
