All I can say it is about time the US did something!
I agree wholeheartedly. However, you have to look at the motivation of the American left. They don't WANT American workers, let alone American producers to be successful. This success does two thing-first it reduces the dependency of American citizens upon the government for handouts-which of course is the death-knell for Dems. Productive people earning a wage have no use for Democrats and their tax and spend policies. Second of course is that the success of the economy under Trump is both a vindication for Trump and his policies-and absolute proof that putting Americans first is a nail in the coffin for socialism. The left would far rather have Americans suffer than have their globalist, socialist pipe dream fail. Trump is putting the agenda of the globalists years behind where they thought they would be in 2016.

And it is very clear, given the healthy economy -- a trade decifit isn't a disaster of the American economy.

There's a wee bit of a problem with finding supply in the USA. And it is obvious there isn't an ability to provide what is needed. The USA doesn't have sufficient bauxite supply.

By that logic Trump should not build hotels and golf courses in other countries.

Trade deficits don’t matter. The deficits help finance our debt and much is reinvested here in the USA.

Conservatives in the Milton Friedman mold understand this.
