Honestly I do not believe it matters.

Predictions of Future Global Climate

"None of these tipping points are considered very likely to occur in the short run; but the consequences of any of them are so severe, and the fact that we cannot retreat from them once they've been set in motion so problematic, that we must keep them in mind when evaluating the overall risks associated with climate change."

A better approach from all sides would be to recognize that 8 billion people on earth is not sustainable without having an impact.
The same failed BS prediction made by Paul Ehrlich the population bomb!

True and anyone to question the religion with valid questions or scientific explanations that doesn't fit in the religion's belief system commit Heresy and will be attacked.

I remember all of the outlandish predictions my professors made in the late 70's and early 80's and at least we can say they vastly overestimated the effects of climate change and I can predict that they still are vastly overstating the future effects as well. I still encourage people to conserve and try to use alternative energies when they can, in case they're partially correct.

1988 was a really hot year. I suppose that’s why they invented this science.

Good news! the world will not end by fire scientists now predict, instead it will end in ice as the universe expands and stars eventually die out the universe will be black and cold. Only have billions of years left.

Of course actually long before then our sun will become a red giant so ugh actually yeah the world will die by fire and global warming.

If only taxes and Democrats could save us from that.

I am quite sure they will succeed in that endeavor.

Anyone with a scintilla of a brain, no make that a brain the size of a pea, knows that Climate Change is real and getting worse. There isn't one canary that is dying in the coal mine it is flocks and flocks of them. The evidence is overwhelming and the science settled.
