BTW, did Hamas ever remove from its charter, the language where it calls for the annihilation of Israel? It's been there ever since Hamas was founded. Many nations have called for its removal, but I've never heard of Hamas actually removing it.

So, is Hamas still demanding the unconditional annihilation of Israel?

For Iran you're right that anti-American rhetoric alone is no reason alone to do anything to them. Nor is developing weaponry that could hit us. The combination of the two is a problem. To be fair to them, we've provoked them. Hence what I think is the correct policy toward them - stop provoking them, walk away, give them a few years to chill out toward us as well, and if they aren't openly anti-American anymore or if they aren't trying to develop weapons to eventually act on it anymore then great. If not an ounce of prevention versus a pound of cure.

We're not in too deeply with Israel, Syria, Egypt and SA. We've always been able to walk away from the first three without too many repercussions and now that we're pumping most of our own oil we don't need SA anymore either.
Afghanistan was pretty much a lawless open space, I don’t see a specific effort to hide Osama, Pakistan is another story. Agree entirely on Iran, the more we provoke them the more we become a self fulfilling prophesy by the ayatollah.

Your NY Times link is Yellow Journalism that is within the gray area of falsified news or fake news. The headline and the body of the article left out that Gaza fired dozens of rockets/mortars first which got Gaza a bombardment for bombardment response.

Quote:
...Terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip launched over 174 rockets and mortar shells at southern Israel throughout Saturday, the majority of them exploding in open fields, but with some landing inside Israeli communities, injuring three people and damaging buildings, officials said.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces launched its largest bombing campaign against Hamas targets in the Strip...

Nothing belongs to the Palestinians. The Arabs started a war in 1948 and lost. There was another war in 1967 and the Arabs lost again. There was another war in 1973 and the Arabs lost again. "All" of it belongs to Israel and it's up to Israel's discretion to what the Palestinians get. Name a country other than Israel where the "Losers" got to set the terms for the "Winners".

Maybe you're the one that has a problem with the word Goy. The word comes from the Old Testament, so it's been around for over 3000 years.

Strong's Hebrew: 1471. ????? (goy) -- nation, people

You are a little behind the times. Anti semite groups used to use this line. That is, until DNA evidence proved them wrong. Even David Duke abandoned this rhetoric, and came up with new ways to hate jews instead. Arabs still push this theory, in spite of the evidence because it is in their interest. I guess you didnt get the memo either. Ashkenazi Jews carry the same Y chromosome as the Jews of ancient Israel.

You're comparing 20th/21st century Arabs who live in modern cities to the Indigenous in Americas (it's goes all the from Canada to South America, so you should include all the countries that exist now and not just the US) who were tribal, living in tepee's and were killing each other before the Europeans stepped foot in the Americas and were still doing so upwards of the 18th century? Really?

Who cares where they visited centuries ago. The majority of today's Israeli's were born in Israel as it has existed currently as a country for over 70 years. All people who have immigrated to Israel over the same time period and became citizens are now Israeli's. Their country. Period.
