Again, things might be different in your country, but in US a suspect of a homicide is arrested. You said it is not the case, but you are wrong, and now you are trying get personal to deflect from it.
Florida doesn't want rioting so they've charged him. Good for the local prosecution using their head. It will still be hard to get a conviction with a majority white jury.

Who knows what will happen now that they have decided to charge him, but your claim was that they charged him to avoid riots.
The shooter has been arrested, and will charged with manslaughter. This is what I thought would happen after seeing the video where is shot the retreating man.

The Florida man who invoked the "stand your ground" self-defense after shooting a black man in a dispute over a parking space was charged Monday with manslaughter, officials said.

Good! I was hoping for this outcome. But I doubt he was in jail long. It took a while to charge him so he had time to earn bail money just in case.
