McGlockton went up to Drejka and "slammed him to the ground," the sheriff said.
"Our job and our role is not to substitute our judgment for the law and what the Legislature has crafted as the framework," he said, "but to enforce it equally and fairly as we’re required to do."
An Armed society is a polite society. Want to be violent? Today is a good day to die, then.
The guy who shot that man should have minded his own business about the parking space. He wanted to be a tough guy because he had a gun. Now he has to worry about the victims family going after him.

I've seen a pistol pulled once in my 64 years -over a parking space.
Must be a coincidence.
Watched a VICE special last night on the Phillipines. 70% of them are armed...big Gun Country. A guy running for political office needed 150 cars to protect him when he went to register his papers to run again. Last time he ran 50 of his supporters and family were murdered in one group....women, children, etc.
Very Polite. Trump likes their way. They have a strong leader.

He just wanted to be polite, if I understand the OP correctly.
I would hate to live in a society where some jerk with a gun tailgates you and beeps at you like a crazy person and follows you and shoots and kills you and claims they are standing their ground.
The shooter started the trouble, and it wasn't the first time. Florida law is messed up.

At the convenience store Friday, customers filed in and out, buying cigarettes, lottery tickets and sodas, many of them familiar with details of the shooting. Mustafa Hashen, a clerk and witness, said both men were regulars.
It wasn’t the first time he saw Drejka in a fight with another customer. A couple of months back, Rick Kelly stopped by the store, parking his tanker truck in the same handicap spot.
The details to Thursday’s incident are similar: Drejka walking around the truck checking for decals, then confronting Kelly, 31, about why he parked there. The fight escalated, and Drejka threatened to shoot him, Kelly said.
"It’s a repeat. It happened to me the first time. The second time it’s happening, someone’s life got taken," Kelly said. "He provoked that."

Many conservatives are realizing that the leftist, socialist groups are becoming more confrontational and violent. I know more people applying for a CC permit than ever before, with these groups in mind.
The stand your ground law normally protects cowards. Nonshe shouldn’t have parked in a handicapped spot, but her boyfriend did what he was supposed to do when he saw a man step to his girlfriend, now he is dead. It’s always the ones who can’t fight that pull out a gun.
