So someone on the other side of the world is arguing with his neighbor over a car which he once owned and was taken from him and now takes it back by force...your problem? Don't think so.
Trump never owned Crimea. So even if he gave it away he didn't really have anything to lose. If Trump owned it he'd have a hotel and golf course there.
Which is what I've been saying for many years: Eastern Europe can only trust...Eastern Europe (or Israel, or China/east Asia).
The West these days is just pro-russian cuckoldry.
Crimea belonged to Russia for most of the last century. If anyone can claim ownership over it, besides the people and government of Ukraine, it would be Russia. There is even a sizable population of ethnic Russians in the area who supported the invasion.
I don't think it was the right thing for Russia to do, but if NATO or the UN doesn't bother to offer resistance, what is the US supposed to do? We are on the other side of the globe, where we belong.
Wasn't Crimea invaded under the Leftist President, Obama?
