I did, and as I said, that wouldn't be odd since he left Kenya at a young age, which we know he did, because we know he was enrolled in a Muslim school in Indonesia.
he moved to indonesia from hawaii at the age of 6 with his step-father, lolo soetoro, whom his mother met and married in hawaii. lolo's time in hawaii is well documented thru his US state department visa extention applications ( of which obama is mentioned ).
Actually that describes why Trump was elected very well. No experience in statecraft, reality TV show personality, professional wrestling promoter, notorious social gadfly.
At least O had experience in a state legislature and the US Senate, and he is a scholar in constitutional law. It may seem to be novel to have his darker skin color but he is a mixed race individual with ancestry that goes back in this country for centuries ... as white people.
What's wrong with us that we must be so fixated on the man's skin tone that it is viewed as a novelty, when his American ancestry goes back so many generations on our soil and he has achieved a top notch education?
Trump is a solid American capitalist success story and a businessman before anything else. No one can take that from him.
Obama did not show a lot of regard for his white side. He had issues with being mixed race and favors his black side.

A solid American Capitalist?
He who came by his wealth ad position due to his inheritance and his father's name?
He who ran almost ran every property he either bought or built into the ground so that now he can only sell his name as a brand?

He who knowingly entered int to agreements with contractors, hard working Americans employing other hard working Americans, knowing that he had no intention of ever paying them, stiffs them during his many bankruptcies, and then brags about it afterwards?
He was such a horrible business man that all reputable sources of funding refused to loan him a dime and he had go begging for money from questionable sources in Russia and the Middle East?
That solid American Capitalist?
No, nobody can take that away from him, no matter how much he lies about it. Unfortunately, he has followers who refuse to see the truth, or aren't bright enough to understand it, or don't care as long as he validates their prejudices and grievances.
He doesn't adjust his speaking to accommodate those who are overeager to jump on every sentence fragment that could conceivably support their very silly notions. Nor should he.

Yes to all. American success story, despite the above, he made it to the very top.
Very much like those guys who believe in the Pizza Shop Porn Ring and every other silly conspiracy theory out there. Sometimes, when talking to one of them , it is like Deliverance, I can almost hear banjos playing.

that has yet to be seen. i have no doubt trump greatly exaggerates his wealth. if it's to the same degree that he exaggerated his campaign rally attendance then he could be worth anywhere from $320million to $4billion ( 2x-25x )
