But that’s not all, the War on Drugs was the icing on the cake that gave the justificatiom to lock Black males up at alarming rates for using drugs pumped into Black neighborhoods by the CIA to fund a war in Nicaragua! Black fathers were taken off the street en masse and used as cheap labor in the prison system. The US Government has attacked the Black family structure through drugs, policing, and welfare so it’s no surprise that the Black community is splintered.

Their family structure is broken due to the US government explicily destroying it to stop the Black community from organizing and opposing it like it did in the Civil Rights Movement. To look at that community that came out of slavery to be constantly denied basic rights and humanity all the way up to 1968 is ridiculous.

You’re basically blaming the victims and absolving the perpetrators. The Black American community is the result of dealing with White supremacy systematically attacking you from every single angle...psychologically, financially, and spiritually for 100’s of years. The nation has to put in as much effort to lift these people up as it did to break them down in the manner that it has you. You can’t terrorize a nation of people, give them human rights in 1968, and expect them to automatically thrive. ESPECIALLY when you are still throwing hurdles in their way! Lastly, a major problem with the education system in the US other than underfunding is that it is heavily Eurocentric and you are not going to tap the minds of these kids if you indoctrinate them with the greatness of White people day in and day out. The world history classes basically talk a bit about China but then froth at the mouth about Greece and Rome...and talk about KMT for a bit but then White wash it. It’s a huge joke...

You have to say Black American students because Black immigrants such as Nigerians outperform everybody so it’s clearly not a Black issue. The problem is the Black community has been destroyed by the nation it exists in and these are the affects. Blaming the people is not gonna fix the situation...the nation has to right its wrongs and invest in the people it has destroyed. It needs to do much better than pell grants and welfare...

Again, will note I am black. Not sure if you are but:

1 - we have very tight families - not being a typical white definition of a "traditional" family doesn't mean our families are "broken." Black Americans have always had a much tighter bond from a family perspective than many other ethnic groups, including whites in America based on our history forcing us to look out for each other - the family is the basis of why we consider ourselves "the black community" from a historical/cultural perspective

2 - I agree with you in regards to white supremacy always being a constant presence.

3 - Black people and our communities have never been and will never be "destroyed" unless we decide as a community to buy into the Eurocentric lies you mention and attempt to define ourselves by the white patriarch's definition/view and to accept white supremacy/black inferiority in how we conduct ourselves/live our lives - I personally don't see this occurring during my own lifetime.

4 - I agree with another poster, I believe MPowering1 who stated that parties and/or government is not to blame for what I and other black people call the "beautiful struggle" of our people in our nation - America. IMO we have to realize that reality is reality and learn to live with it and take strength in our cultural history and stop trying to define ourselves and our families and our communities with how the white patriarchal/white supreamcy power structure wants us to be (be the type of families they want - base our lives on money/greed like this country was historically founded upon, etc.). Lots of goals and successes were made for us by our ancestors. We should take note and be grateful and move forward with the knowledge of what reality is. It is rare for us to be taken advantage of in our day to day lives as a result of white supremacy so and this is specifically my opinion, we should not focus so much on it and white people and instead focus on ourselves, our culture, and what we want for ourselves and our families/communities going forward. We know about all this stuff and what other people think really isn't important. What you do with your knowledge is what matters.

#3 You ignore that there was severe discrimination against Japanese and Chinese immigrants, forced segregation of them, etc... Their poor neighborhoods chose to have intact families, chose to stay out of trouble, chose to work hard and today outperform whites.

#4 You will never live up to your economic potential or your happiness potential absolving yourself of blame for your own actions and blaming others.

This is the whole reason why conservatives the world over report being happier than liberals. Conservatives are more likely to take accountability when they mess up and surveys show that liberals are more likely to blame external factors - like you do. It is why guess what demographic if obese blames genetics and big corporations for why they gorge themselves on junk food...instead of their own food choices.

Any community that blames others for their own actions will always be doomed to fail. We choose to not place an emphasis on education, because the government is evil. We choose to be deadbeat dads to the point that 72% of our kids don't live with dad, because of other people being racist. That is the excuse of a loser by choice who will always be a loser.
Boom! Pow!!

There should be no black culture or white culture in America after that long if not for racism incubating it.
Plays out?

Racism makes these people leave women, listen to gangster rap, etc

Cops over there are very aggressive. The OP message is ridiculous considering this vehicle. There was no reason for that cop to punch the person in the face, push the lady down and then shoot a taser....

More agressive nature of APD officers there. Note this is also a neighborhood where they murdered a 92 year old black woman in her home then tried to blame her non existence children/grandchildren as being drug dealers for the reason why they killed her.

Glad I'm not there. There would be a lot of tense meetings over this incident to attend.
One word.

Clueless

Felony. Resisting/aggressive movements. Taser justified.

Thugs mom obstructs/batters Officer no? Push is justified.

General public is clueless and some even defend thuggery
