FBI Believed Trump Campaign Aide Carter Page Was Collaborating With Russia
I don't really care what the FBI believed. I would be interested in what they proved, though.
The FBI and the media believed Richard Jewell was the Atlanta bomber. Ruined his life, too. But now The Putzes on The Left want us to believe that what the FBI believes is sacrosanct.
Fail.
Comey and Strozak conspired to change the wording of what Hillary did to make it not criminal when it was and they conspired to try to make what Inspector Gadget (Page) criminal in order to spy on the Trump campaign....simple as that.
BTW, Trump never met or spoke to Inspector Gadget.
Four Republican appointed judges have approved the warrants, and extended them again and again.

The dossier was never verified. This document released over the weekend 100% corresponds with the Nunes memo and basically validates everything that many of us have been saying all along.
"Collaborating with Russia" is perfectly legal and cannot justify any sort of surveillance. At least 98% of our Senators routinely collaborate with Israel, and a good many collaborate with Mexico, but they don't get FISA'd. The Carter Page surveillance was totally illegal and 100 times worse than Watergate.

How many are caught red handed doing the bidding of a foreign country in federal elections?
Carter Page is known to have been working with the FBI as an "asset" in 2013 and later testified in a Court case in 2015 against Russians. CNN and the WSJ have both reported on that.
How likely is it that the same FBI Counter Intelligence department suddenly decided 6 months later that their "asset" Carter Page was without question - a Known Russia Spy in a FISA warrant???
Carter Page was their intro into the Trump Campaign so they could surveil everyone connected to Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for President that they hoped to stop.
Having cooperated with the FBI in a counter-intelligence operation and later as a witness in the 2015 trial of a Russian intelligence officer, it seems implausible that Page could have been a willing secret agent of the Russians at any point thereafter. More likely, he was playing out a role assigned to him, perhaps under duress, by the FBI. Page was apparently sufficiently trusted by the FBI that he was allowed to travel to Russia several times before and after the Bureau busted the Podobnny cell in September 2014. Doubtful that Carter Page knew he was suddenly being used as a conduit in a FISA Warrant by the Counter Intel groups at FBI/DOJ/CIA - it's almost a sure thing that those groups had any idea that their FISA warrants would ever be revealed and what the paper trail would expose.
That's the thing about Federal Bureaucracy -- it always leaves a paper trail of some sort. It can be difficult to uncover the paper trail, but it's there. NONE of them thought Hillary Clinton would not be crowned Queen and they got sloppy. From his background - I suspect Carter Page was a CIA operative.

Devin Nunes peddled this same lie last year and was later forced to admit that he had lied. He then switched to complaining not that the information was hidden from the Judges, but that it was located in a footnote. Laughable stuff - I’m sorry you fell for it.
