The idea of gender was championed and brought into mainstream by a man that had two twin boys perform sex simulation acts on each so he could attempt to raise one as a girl to prove *gender* isn't biological. The one he tried to raise as a girl, eventually reclaimed his masculinity and lived his life as a man.
This *scientist* committed sexual child abuse; sexual child pornography as he instructed, watched and took pictures of the 2 boys simulating sexual act; falsified data; c;aimed his experiment was a success even though the boy could not be swayed to live life as a girl; and ultimately contributed to their deaths as both MEN committed suicides as adults.
But that is the *proof* that the community clings to that gender *isn't* biological. It's one study based on child abuse and false data which resulted in both subjects having severe mental health issues ending in 2 suicides.
if these parents dont teach the kids what it means to be a boy or a girl, they will be confused and not know what they are. this will add to the misconception that kids find out they are not the gender/sex that they were born as.

Not sure what you mean by “what it means to be a boy or a girl.” Do tell. What does it actually mean?
I cannot say that I’m on board with not assigning a child the gender that matches the child’s genitalia because very few people are transgender, so it’s a pretty safe bet to call a kid with a penis “he” and one with a vagina “she,” but I do not think the requirements placed on that child should extend beyond that.
Kids should be treated pretty much the same, otherwise.
They should be allowed to learn, grow, and explore the world free of gender role expectations when they are little kids.

Why do you care unless you want other people to tell you how to raise your kids.
It would be one thing if all these people just kept it to themselves, but they want to force everyone else’s kids to learn about this and accept it. In England, in Canada, and even in California, they teach kids as young as kindergarten about this in schools. And low and behold, more and more kids are growing up confused. And I don’t think it’s because they feel more empowered by the movement.
