Rouhami tweets something about how the US should watch out and Trump immediately all-caps a threat to kill Iran if he doesn't shut up.
That's not ALL he said. He also threatened to block all shipping lanes out of the Persian Gulf if they can't sell oil. You might agree or disagree with him but you can't say he did not threaten the US. And this was not the only instance. They issue daily threats to lob missile all over the place for all sorts of reasons.

The West has a problem with Sunni terrorist, Iran is the flagship Shia nation. We should be allies fighting common enemies. But Israel and Saudi Arabia yield far too much influence over US foreign policy so the opposite is true. Iran may have a wacky govt but it's people very rarely carry out terror attacks while living in the West.

No, all too often "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" belief turns out to be just so much BS. We should be focused on defending our own country and let others do the same.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday cautioned U.S. President Donald Trump about pursuing hostile policies against Tehran, saying “war with Iran is the mother of all wars”, but did not rule out peace between the two countries.
“America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” Rouhani said, leaving open the possibility of peace between the two countries, at odds since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
I know you wanted to include the full quote where there is talk of peace, implying war is avoidable.

Is Trump tweeting to a Reuters article?? Whenever something is queit Reuters mongers something like this and keeps the news channels busy.
Last 2 years we have seen articles like "may have" "could have" "allegedly" & " reliable sources" expecially from liberal media... Likewise Reuters also does types of articles often especially when it involves Syria, Iran and NK...
