Lets walk in Putin's shoes.

Was he supposed to support a neo lib war monger like Clinton? when he proposed to have joint bombing missions with U S against Isis in Syria Hillary shot back with " no fly zones'.

So why would Putin support Hillary when she was a un cooperative neo lib war monger?

Was she on the trail saying she wanted better relations with Russia?

Of course Putin has a functioning brain and would be in support of any candidate from either party that wanted better relations with Russia. That would make sense to you, right?

It worked out perfectly for Russia.

Putin got a weak, cowardly accomplice in the White House. A submissive lapdog who won't dare say a word against him. A bootlicker who takes Putin's side against America and our allies. A BS artist who's been played by Kim and punked by Putin.

But wait! There's more!

He also has a number of GOP lackeys in congress with Russian money in their campaign war chests.

This treason isn't limited to tRump.

Asking a bunch of people on city-data for the proof of something not in the public domain is kind of silly. There's a whole lot of smoke (what you would call the CNN talking points) but no gun. In that respect, it isn't very different from the Watergate scandal. If CD existed in 1973-1974, people could be posting "Yeah, but where's the PROOF!" Boy, would they have felt silly later on...

However, we have the right to demand proof.

One thing I want to point out since I think some people don't get it:

Collusion, election meddling and obstruction of justice are three different things. They are related, but are not the same.

Collusion would be if Trump or his campaign corroborated with a foreign entity to release damaging information on an opponent (for example: the timely release of damaging information about a candidate)

Election meddling is a foreign entity attempting to swing the election by, at a minimum, convincing voters to support or oppose a candidate based on propaganda or on truth. The key here is that a foreign entity has no business in an election that is not their own. We did see evidence of this with highly targeted Facebook propaganda ads that originated from Russia.

Obstruction of justice is to interfere with process of justice by influencing, threatening or impeding a witness or by providing falsified information or otherwise impeding a legal process. For example, meeting with Mueller for an interview and providing falsified information to the investigation would be obstruction of justice. Trump dictating that statement for Trump Jr in regards to that Trump Tower meeting could show that Trump was trying to cover up a meeting with the Russians in regards to something else other than "adoption." In other words, if Mueller's team can show that that meeting did NOT have anything to do with adoption, then Trump would have committed obstruction of justice.

Now, would they actually act on that criminal act? I don't know.

Election meddling has nothing directly to do with Trump. He could score political points by doing the obvious thing - agree with the intelligence community. Stop calling it a hoax. That would appease people on the right, people on the left but it will damage his ego. Did he only win in PA, MI and WI because of meddling? It doesn't matter now anyway. It can't be proven that people's votes were swayed due to it.

However, Collusion and Obstruction of Justice are tied to Trump. If his campaign colluded without his knowledge (plausible deniability), he'd just take a credibility hit but would survive it while the people that ran his campaign would go to jail. If he personally directed the collusion, then he's in jeopardy.

But, if Trump had no hand in collusion but is protecting the people that DID collude, he'd be guilty of Obstruction of Justice.

I just want to make clear that Trump agreeing with the Intelligence Community is NOT the same as Trump admitting to Collusion. He CAN have his cake and eat it too. I don't know why he doesn't do so.

It's a critical difference.

Surprising that it is taking some so long to comprehend.

Maybe you should send a letter to Mueller on this, since you know it and apparently they don't since as of today, he's still our President.

Gregg Jarrett does in his new book.

The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump

All information well sourced with 700 footnotes.

Did you read it yet ? I want to but it seems to border on conspiracy theory.

True enough indeed.

However, the OP may enjoy reading the prior thread:

Based on the fact that there was a meeting and Trump hasn't been so hard on Russia, Trump going so far as to not even criticize them publicly until held over a barrel, it is Occam's Razor for this to be foreseeable.

The way investigations work is we usually find out all the facts after its over. So far Muller has indicted 35 "witches." Thats more witches than Whitewater an Benghazi combined.

Answer this : What was the main objective of the Don jr meeting? Go ahead and answer I will wait.

Did you finally come up with that Don jr attended the meeting hoping to find damaging information on Hillary?

Hillary has spoken on foreign opposition research many times so I am sure she was not surprised in the least when hearing about the Don jr meeting. Partisans support foreign opposition research as long as the findings are not damaging to their party.

Take you as a prime example you loved the foreign opposition research that was anti Trump called the Steele dossier but it was totally under handed that Don jr met with Russians for opposition research on Hillary.

People that worship democracy better get used to it, this type of foreign influence in elections is here to stay.U S democracy has gone global, it had to our leaders and others needed a new avenue to get their palms greased selling influence real or perceived.

I am tired of partisans whinning about foreign opposition research when deep down they support it, I say get used to it.
You don’t need to wait. Trump, Jr. admitted, both orally and in writing, that the main objective of the meeting was to get damaging information on Hillary Clinton from persons linked to the Russian Government.

Team Mueller knows.

It's not up to Mueller as to whether Trump is President or not.

But then, you knew that, didn't you?
