OUR Coast Guard has for years, been setting new annual seizure records, no matter who sits the oval.

Conservative Libertarians, focused on limiting government and promoting personal liberties often wear Republican hats, tend to favor an end to the War on Drugs, favor free trade and oppose the Wall.

The real question is how much gets through? Do the get most of it? Half? Ten percent?

Once near a US coastal city it becomes close to impossible.

Once spent three hours off San Clemente trying to get the CG to do something about a Cruise ship that was simply drifting or slow motoring in pea soup fog and weather with no one on the bridge. CG agreed that was likely the case but had no vessel available to investigate.

So imagine it was a transfer of drugs from a mother ship to a set of go fasts....

This post is phrased in an amusing way. "Trump's Coast Guard" as if Trump did it. When Obama's Seal Team got Bin Laden, Republicans lost their minds saying Obama didn't personally shoot the guy.

I didn't have to look too extensively (the post after the OP) to see that someone beat me to it ^^^^^.

Authoritarian thinking, of course! It's his.....not ours!

The amount of coke they got doesn't touch what Trumps NYC crowd used in a weekend in the 80's.

It is amazing how people know the War on Drugs is not working - yet they find something positive in spending more taxpayer money on it.

Here is my headline....

"Good News - American consumers won't be short cocaine as seized amounts are a drop in the bucket"

Right! I love the thread title..it just infuriates the slack jawed libbies because of course the lame stream media will always link Trump to something bad that happens in the govt, even if Trump had nothing to do with it

I guess they are just innocent undocumented immigrants just looking for a better life according to Democrats. If Democrats had their way there would be no enforcement and those 52,900 pounds of cocaine would be on America's streets.

A vast majority of these migrants are nothing but entitled economic terrorists who want to collect welfare and career drug traffickers.
And?

This is part of what the CG does, interdiction. For every large load that gets seized, there are 10+ more that don't, the cartels factor this in to their P&L.

The rest of your post is nothing more than right wing inspired blather.

The Coast Guard DOES NOT belong to Donald Trump.

If you want to be somebody’s property go ahead.

Military members serve the country.
