Not surprising. Trump takes his plays from tyrants' playbooks, and he thinks he's accountable to no one, just like when he ran his businesses (mostly into the ground.)
While Trump's hatred of the free press and the truth is nothing surprising when one considers the man-child's track record, more amusing is the utter silence or laughable apologist drivel from the far-right, excuses yet again another anti-American action by the King in Orange.
The networks never get the opportunity to ask a question, that is why they go overboard when they have the chance. Providing an interview with Sean Hannity doesn't pass as a press conference, the American people deserve to have answers to these questions.
George W stood up and answered the tough questions on Iraq, Gitmo, economy crash, Trump should be able to handles the same rather than hiding behind twitter.
To your side the networks never get to ask a question. But to our President they have only one agenda so no sense in acting as an enabler for reporters with bad habits! Time after time they go for the throat and forget any accomplishments. They want negative news; nothing that will hurt their side of the argument. You are not going to compromise so it is easy to see why he will not.

The questions Trump is being asked on Russia, his firings, tax returns, tariffs and others are obvious questions. Did George W go in the bunker and hide when asked the tough questions, would you have claimed the same for him if he behaved like Trump. Its not about compromising, its not about choosing sides its just about getting questions answered.

It isn't a matter of going to the bunker. It is a matter of being blind to what is happening or acknowledging the fact that many are out to get him. Your side has been out to put his head on a stick from day one. So why would President Trump make easy? Let the reporters prove they are worthy; let them go back to fair reporting!

Well said. These media clowns are a disgrace to fair media coverage with their idiotic questions

"Obama Gives Speeches, Interviews But Few Press Conferences"
By Karen Travers
Jan. 14, 2010
"President Obama has not held a full news conference at the White House since July 22, the night he said that the Cambridge Police "acted stupidly" in the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates."
And when Obama did he would tale 5 minutes to "answer" the question and in the end you had no idea what the answer was becuae he never did but, jumped all over the place.
Fox news asked a bunch of positive questions of Obama, right? There was a balance? That's rhetorical, because the answer is no.
Sean Hannity never used his platform on Fox News to spread lies about Obama not being a US citizen, right? Something that Trump admitted himself was false. That's rhetorical, because the answer is no.
Hannity is NOT a "reporter", so it is apples and oranges.

Neither are the shills at CNN.
