Tammy Bruce: America avoided a disaster -- Look at the Clintons and their pal Harvey Weinstein | Fox News

A year and a half after the fact, we are seeing photographs of Hillary and Bill Clinton at a cozy dinner just weeks after her failed presidential campaign, with accused serial rapist Harvey Weinstein. Having powerful friends like the Clintons is a reminder of not only how someone as disgusting as Mr. Weinstein remained in power, but why people were afraid to act against him.

In the immediate aftermath of the 2016 loss, one would guess she’d have her closest friends with her, the people she could trust. And in early December, that apparently was Mr. Weinstein, with whom the Clintons had been friends for decades.

You don't know much about the Lois Lerner fiasco, do you. Lerner was almost certainly guilty of transmitting confidential taxpayer data to Rep. Elijah Cummings, among others.

I recommend a book for you: The Intimidation Game by Wall Street Journal reporter Kim Strassel. She goes through the evidence. Naturally the Obama DOJ declined to prosecute her, since she was basically working on their behalf. Jeff Sessions also declined to prosecute, for reasons unexplained. Some of it was probably past the statute of limitations, which is usually 5 years in such cases. Most of the dirty work was done in 2010, and Sessions was not Atty. Gen. until 2016.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, officially entered the race Thursday to become the next speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Jim Jordan just gave the GOP base the rallying cry it so desperately needs | Fox News

Jordan is well-liked by colleagues because he’s principled. He consistently makes the hard votes when it comes to cutting spending, shrinking government, and returning Congress to regular order.

The Democrats thank Gym Jordan for making himself ever more visible.

A few things presented for your consideration:

1) Weinstein never assaulted Hillary, as far as we know. So, how would she know about his crimes with other women?

2) Hillary isn't being accused of enabling Weinstein.

3) Hillary isn't announcing her candidacy for speaker of the house.

Jim Jordan?

Exemplar of GOP "Family values"...

Just by the responses here, both Jordan and McCarthy are the right choices....

A long way from Boener!
The Ron Paul Revolution lives on and is getting stronger and stronger by the year.

The democrats would welcome Jordan as house speaker, it would help them in the 2020 elections big time. McCarthy ruined his career when he claimed that the GOP was using Benghazi purely for political gain.

I don't think Jordan will end up being Speaker because he is too confrontational within his own party. Though I do like him, but I like many in the Freedom Caucus.

An opinion piece from self-described Tea Party Conservative? Yeah, no. Zero credibility on this subject, as is your personal opinion on the closeness of the relationship.

Besides, it's all deflection from the topic of this thread, who is Gym Jordan, including all the claims that he was well aware of sexual assault of students under this care yet he did nothing.

Yup. Notice how the Democrat smear campaign kicked in when hints of Jordan running for the Speaker popped up in the media? Democrats like a mild Republican Speaker, they are going to hate Jim Jordan. He's smart, hard driving and as Speaker will have a big bullhorn.
