Omarossa was always unstable and paranoid and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why he tried to do anything for her. maybe out of kindness, probably as a way of reaching out to African americans. She'd be easy prey to sell out to someone and be manipulated and her credibility is, at best, suspect.
Yet the trump support staff all loved her when he brought her on board! What Happen???
If the tapes are really there, and it can confirm that President Trump has been using racial slurs, the optimist in me says "maybe Trump will lose big time in 2020". However , the pessimist in me says that there are some among the Trump voting base who themselves have bigoted opinions about Blacks, or who otherwise won't care if Trump really did say what he said. Part of me thinks he might lose some voters, but gain some more. Some people might double down on their support for Trump just because he "fights against political correctness" or "he speaks his mind".
Correction: Low credibility Amorosa and Trump are both Republicans. No one forced him to hire her and he already knew about her drama. So this is clearly a mess created by the right. They need to own it, but they will probably continue to deflect and make unhinged attacks on the left.
You don't need Omarosa to corrobrate that Trump is a racist. He's got a history that goes way back more than 40 years - starting with his family organization getting sued for housing discrimination, his public pronouncements on the Central Park Five, his role in the birther movement, and his public statements on the Charlotteville riots and the white supremacists, not to mention his retweets of white supremacist tweets.

I'll add one more. There was Trump's rant against Judge Curiel when he wanted him removed from the Trump University case because he was a Mexican.
